How to repair fuel line in a fuel injected vehicle?

Connie Dickirson: Some fuel lines are pressurized. If yours is a pressurized line a rubber hose may work. You could try getting a metal line from a junk yard and use compression fittings to splice in.

Kenneth Queener: This vehicle has an in-pump fuel pump that puts out close to 40-psi. It is NOT a candidate for DIY repair. You CANNOT use rubber hose. Babette Deloe: Get high pressure fuel line and splice it in with metal fittings and clamps. I use 200PSI hose on my truck, its expensive ($5/ft) but easy to work with.

Roosevelt Pendill: Simple. You don't. Unless you like the idea of dieing screaming in a gasoline fed fire, you replace it with the right one. And not from a junkyard.
