Ulrike Hert: As long as the car has been maintained properly it will make a fine daily driver or second car. 30K-40K is nothing on a Porsche. Maintenance costs however, will vary from car to car so there's no exact science. You should probably have 3K-5K in the rainy day fund. I will say this though, a daily driven Porsche is better off than a garage queen that sits for long periods of time.
Hye Caulley: How old is this car? If it's more than 3 years old, that may be an acceptable amount of mileage for the year. Of course, when you get into a Porsche, every mechanic in town will assume that you can afford things like $500 gas caps and $300 oil changes.
