Reyes Brunell: depends. it definitely has an apostrophe, but if it is more than one friend (which sounds better in the sentence), then it would be friends' (apostrophe after s). but if it was one friend, then it would be friend's (apostrophe between the d and the s).it's not friends because you're comparing your friend's/friends' life to your life, not your friend/friends to your life. that would be weirdp.s.
