I'm the "finance / financial" manager, I'm in charge of the "finance / financial" department.My impression is that if there's an actual department called 'Finance' in your company, then use that. If your department deals with finance/financial things but is NOT called 'finance' the use of 'financial' is more appropriate....Show more

"Finance" is the noun.The thing is t! hat in English we can use a noun as an adjective if need be.The choice of your words might depend on the terminology your company uses.
